Leaving Analog for Fujifilm X series
Shooting analog for 10 years + was something I enjoyed and learned a lot about photography. 120 format was my favorite, I had a Hasselblad 500cm , what a beautiful beast of a camera it was. I had Nikons, Olympus OM-1 & OM-2 ( both fantastic cameras, with the OM Zuiko lenses, would recommend these for anybody) and I had another of my favorites....Leica M2....with a Zeiss lens.....Incredible !! I also developed my own film and scanned to computer.....yes ,this was a great learning experience and I would recommend for any photographer to at some point shoot analog and if you can develope your own film. But after 10+ years of analog and reading so much about Fujifilm X series and there film simulation....I picked up a Fuji x-70.....then went to a Fuji x-100......then the Fuji x-T1. Is the Fuji X-T1 still worth it in 2020? Absolutely !!!!! ( now I did get a Fuji x-e3,but we will save that for another time) All i'm gonna say is what you can do with the Fuji X series cameras is incredible. Film simulations,I can use manual lenses on it with adapters...I could go on and on. Analog....you were great and I learned a lot, But Fuji, you are here to stay.
